LED Light Therapy

Light Emitting Diode (LED) light therapy stimulates your body’s natural healing process to repair and rejuvenate the skin. Using a range of visible and invisible wavelengths, specific skin cells are targeted, leading to a softening of fine lines, improved skin tone and a greater ability for the skin to maintain hydration. LED light therapy uses pure light optimised to deliver the correct wavelength and dose for maximum activation of the target cells. We offer a combination of LED therapy options to tackle a wide range of skin issues.

LED Light Therapy treat conditions such as:

  • Acne and rosacea
  • Wound healing and scars
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Hyperpigmentation

What to expect from LED Light Therapy

Skin rejuvenation treatments using red and near-infrared light have effect on periorbital wrinkles, helps reduce pore size, improve skin ton and texture. The alternate combination of blue and red light therapy treatments, helps to remove the bacterium that causes the redness and inflammation of acne, promoting faster healing giving clearer and healthier skin. The LED system has tree different wavelengths:

  • Blue 415nm, works to reduce excess sebum, inflammation and kills acne bacteria.
  • Red 633nm, uses red light, which stimulate the collagen formation increasing the levels of moisture in your skin, and acts as a anti inflammatory agent.
  • Infrared 830nm uses near-infrared which stimulates collagen, and promotes healing of tissue.

What is LED Therapy?

The light is produced by LED (Light Emitting Diode) – small semiconductors that emit light when a current is passed through it. The Light Therapy units use different wavelengths of LED to target various skin conditions from acne to ageing skin.
